According to the recent interview of Nonito Donaire, "Omar is a tremendous fighter. He is an experienced one, has great heart and knows how to win. You may not know who he is but he has a good track record for being a champion."

The trainer (Robert Garcia) of Nonito also noted: "We know that Omar is a great champion and his record shows it. Now he is moving up in weight just like Nonito. He is very well prepared mentally and physically. He wanted to accomplish what Nonito has been doing. Nonito knows that we are in a good fight. He's going to be in there giving his heart in the ring."

Donaire is said to be having some problems making the 118-pound limit. He worked out Thursday evening at the Affinia Hotel Gym, located across the street from Madison Square Garden on Seventh Ave. Both Donaire and Narvaez worked out at the hotel gymnasium last night – with Narvaez shadowboxing inside the gym, while Donaire, the champion, did his shadowboxing drills in the hallway outside the gym. Narvaez also did some running on the treadmill.

And guess what, according to our source, this might be the final fight of Nonito for the Bantamweight division and next he will possibly challenge the WBO 122 pound champion Jorge Arce as early of 2012, but of course, he need to win the Saturday, October 22, 2011 boxing bout.
